Delicious “old-fashioned Italian taste” with lots of
layers. A complex wine with “blackjack and
liquorice” and balsamic notes with spice at the
end.

14.5% Eucalyptus nose, classic from the
area. Masses of tannins and ripe fruit. "Essence of
wine”, "a wine stock cube”. Very rich wine which has
years to go. Well-structured with persistent
tannins. "a good mouthful"..."Absolutely glorious"
and "tastes like a “bloody Mary!"

14.5% Very
sweet, very ripe, drinking too early (needs another
10 years). Not convinced by this Australian ... "as
close to Châteauneuf-du-Pape as the moon is to
Mars!”"
